embrace
embrace is essentially a combination of our wine philosophies…in a bottle of wine.
As advocates that good wine can be affordable, we set out (rather ambitiously) in 2005 to create our own brand. We called it ‘embrace’, after the warmth and friendship which comes about sharing bottles of wines around the table.

As embrace is about friendship, we naturally approached all our wine producer friends to work on this project with us. We chatted extensively with all our customers, came up with a list of characteristics we thought Singaporeans look for in wine, and fashioned a wine that will fit all occasions.
We have also designed the logo to tell the story with a stylised ‘e’ for embrace, which signifies embracing life with passion, joy and love. The red stroke symbolises people as life. The word ‘embrace’, repeated around the bottle, symbolises the warmth and friendship which comes from enjoying wine together – a sight we have witnessed many times at The Wine Company™.
We are happy to say that it has since been a success, and embrace has been part of many celebratory occasions. In fact, we can even custom-blend the wines, upon special request.
embrace is proudly available at all our outlets.
Tasting Notes
embrace Sauvignon Blanc 2009/2010 price $28.00
Pale straw colour with aromas of green pepper and gooseberry. The palate is more focused, with ripe fig, grape fruit and spicy minerality. The wine is fresh with good acidity. Expect the wine to show more fruit and complexity in a year or two.

embrace Cabernet Sauvignon 2008 price $32.00
The nose of this wine shows opulent dark berry and cassis character with slight tones of herbs. These flavours are carried forward onto the palate where the wine is broadened to a rich cranberry freshness and soft menthol finish. Barrel matured for 1 year.
